Justin leads with unconditional positive regard, placing students at the centre of every decision. His focus is on supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth while equipping them with the creative, critical, and problem solving skills needed to thrive in an ever changing world. He is committed to fostering a school culture where young people feel safe, valued, and inspired to achieve their best, and where staff and families work together to support each student’s journey.

Ange Tremain
BSE Assistant Principal

Ange has been part of the BSE community since 2009 and is deeply committed to creating a school environment where every student feels supported, safe, and inspired to succeed. Her focus is on building strong relationships and ensuring that both social and emotional growth are valued alongside academic achievement. Ange works closely with staff, students, and families to make BSE a place where young people can thrive and develop the skills they need for life beyond school.

Hamish’s focus is on creating a learning environment where every student feels supported to achieve their goals and build a successful future. With a strong belief in the power of high quality teaching and meaningful relationships, he works closely with staff to develop engaging, challenging, and inclusive learning experiences. Hamish is committed to ensuring that every student at BSE has the opportunity, guidance, and confidence they need to thrive both now and beyond their time at the college.

Steve is passionate about helping every student realise their potential. He believes all young people can grow when provided with the right opportunities, guidance and challenge, and works to create a culture of continuous improvement across the college. Steve is dedicated to building students’ confidence, resilience and sense of belonging so they feel supported to take on challenges and succeed both at school and beyond.

Tom is committed to helping every student become the best version of themselves. He places strong importance on building genuine connections and believes that when students feel seen, supported and valued, they are empowered to grow with confidence and purpose. Through his work at BSE, Tom strives to create an environment where students feel a sense of belonging and are encouraged to develop both personally and academically.

Braeden understands that the move into secondary school is one of the most significant transitions in a young person’s life. He is passionate about creating an optimistic, empathetic, and caring environment where Year 7 students feel supported, welcomed, and confident as they begin their journey at BSE. With a focus on strong relationships and a positive start, Braeden works to ensure every student feels a sense of belonging and is ready to thrive in their new school community.

Cameron Ladd
Year Eight Education Leader

Cameron is committed to supporting students to become the best version of themselves. He is approachable and takes the time to build genuine rapport, believing strong relationships are key to student growth. Cameron works to ensure students feel seen, supported and valued, creating a sense of belonging and encouraging them to develop both personally and academically at BSE.

Nathan Rogers
Year Nine Education Leader

Nathan believes strong connections are the foundation of learning and that when students feel valued, safe and supported, they can reach their full potential. He works to create an environment that provides clear guidance, structure and encouragement so every student has the support they need to grow with confidence and succeed at BSE and beyond.

 

Jiya Lyons
Year Ten Education Leader

Jiya plays a key role in guiding students through their final year at BSE, helping them build confidence, independence, and readiness for life beyond school. As Year 10 Educational Leader, she focuses on strengthening student engagement, academic growth, and leadership opportunities. Jiya is passionate about creating a learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and proud of what they can achieve.

 

James Ginnivan
Education Leader – Diversity + Inclusion

James is committed to creating learning spaces that celebrate diversity and remove barriers for students. As Education Leader – Diversity and Inclusion, he works to ensure every student feels a strong sense of belonging and has the support they need to succeed both personally and academically at BSE.

Kate Lamprell
Education Leader – Curriculum

Kate is passionate about working with staff, students and families to use meaningful assessment to guide next steps in learning. As Education Leader – Curriculum, she supports the creation of engaging learning experiences and ensures every student feels supported, challenged and confident to progress in their learning at BSE.

Stephen’s passion for education is centred on fostering student engagement across all aspects of learning. He is deeply committed to strengthening community connections with the college and developing meaningful pathways that support student success. In his role as Year 7 Coordinator, Stephen is committed to supporting students and their families, ensuring the move into secondary college life is a smooth and welcoming experience.

Chloe leads with kindness and genuine connection, working to create an inclusive environment where every student feels a strong sense of belonging. She is committed to ensuring students feel supported and valued, and encourages them to explore opportunities that help them grow and succeed as individuals both at school and beyond.

Yasmin Thomas
Year Nine Coordinator

Yasmin is passionate about fostering connection, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging among students. With almost two decades at BSE, she brings deep understanding and care to her work, helping students navigate the challenges and opportunities of secondary school. As Year 9 Coordinator, Yasmin focuses on wellbeing, engagement, and growth supporting each student to develop the skills and self belief they need to thrive both at school and beyond.

Caydyn Kearin
Year Ten Coordinator

Caydyn believes school is a place where students build connections with each other, with their teachers and with their learning. His role is to support those connections and create an environment where students feel confident to grow and thrive. This year, his focus is helping make Year 10 an enjoyable and positive experience while supporting students through the transition from middle school into senior pathways, whether that be VCE, TAFE or the workforce, and helping them discover and pursue their passions.

Ben Jones
Year 7/8 Coordinator

Ben’s focus is on empowering every student to develop the knowledge, skills, and values they need to thrive as responsible, compassionate, and engaged members of an ever changing world. He is passionate about helping students grow into confident, kind, and capable young people who are ready to take on new challenges and make a positive difference in their community.

Year 9/10 Coordinator

Travis believes education is about building strong connections, fostering hope, and empowering young people to become independent and critical thinkers. His focus is on creating an environment where every student feels safe, valued, and challenged in their learning. With a calm and supportive approach, Travis is committed to helping students grow not only academically but also as confident, capable young adults ready for their next steps beyond BSE.
