Leading our student body this year are College Captains Ava Neville and Charlie Cahill, alongside SRC members Paige Penno, Fletcher Pearson, Darcy Pearson, Jonie Trinidad, Tali Golubchik, Isabella Drechsler, Ajay Sonti and Mikayla O’Donnell.

Throughout the year, our SRC members have embraced opportunities to represent their fellow students and contribute to College life. They have played an important role in our whole school assemblies, helping to lead and present in front of students and staff, while continuing to provide a student voice on matters across the College.

Fundraising and supporting important causes have once again been a strong focus. During Term 1, the SRC coordinated a number of activities in support of the Good Friday Appeal, including hot cross bun sales, an Easter raffle and other fundraising initiatives, raising $764.50 for the appeal.

The SRC also supported IDAHOBIT Day, working alongside our Wellbeing Student Leaders to promote inclusion, acceptance and respect across our College community.

In June, students and staff enthusiastically got behind the SRC’s FightMND Ice Bucket Challenge. Twenty students and staff took on the challenge, with the SRC also selling hot chocolates and raffle tickets to raise funds and awareness for FightMND.

Beyond fundraising, our SRC continues to be involved in events and activities across BSE, representing students and helping create opportunities for our school community to come together.

Our SRC members have shown enthusiasm, confidence and a genuine willingness to contribute throughout 2026. We are proud of the way they continue to represent their peers and use their voices to make a positive contribution to Bendigo South East College.

With plenty still to come this year, we look forward to seeing what our SRC achieves next!
