Steps to enrol your child in Secondary School

By now you will have received from your Government Primary school (or directly from BSE if attending a non-government primary school) confirmation of placement at BSE for Year 7, 2024.

  • You will receive a welcome letter from BSE with links to the enrolment forms required for 2024. Fill in applicable forms (found below) by either:
  • Government students must return to their current primary school – non-government students can return to Bendigo South East directly by emailing to kim.polglase@education.vic.gov.au or delivering to the BSE General Office.
  • Print, complete and deliver in an envelope marked ENROLMENT to BSE General Office at 56 Ellis Street, Flora Hill OR Post to BSE PO Box 15 Strathdale VIC 3550
  • Visit/phone BSE General Office and ask for a hard copy of all forms.
  • Non-Government students must provide proof of address (Residential Address Check Points Form)

ORIENTATION DAY
If your student requires COUNTRY bus travel on Orientation Day – Tuesday, December 12th, please complete the AD HOC form below.

LANGUAGE PREFERENCE SELECTION
Sign into https://my.edval.education/login with the Webcode from your Welcome letter/email.

Choices are Chinese, German, or Indonesian.

Please be aware that you are not guaranteed your first preference.  Class sizes and availability of teachers are taken into consideration in determining how many classes of each language will run in 2024.  If a preference is not made by Friday 6th October, BSE will make the selection on your behalf.
