Transition commences in Term 2 2023.
Your Primary School will pass on all documentation for transition placement.
If attending a non-government primary school – application forms are available at the bottom of this page.

Education Week Principal Tours will be held from Monday May 15 to Thursday May 18th @ 2.30pm each day. A booking form is available HERE.

Information for parents and carers with Grade 6 children at government primary schools

For grade 6 students enrolled at government primary schools in the same zone/designated neighbourhood as Bendigo South East College, you will receive the Transition Information Pack and Application for Year 7 Placement 2024 from your child’s primary school in Week 1, Term2, 2023. If you have not received this information you will need to make contact with your child’s primary school as soon as possible to receive this information.

Parents/Carers of the child are required to complete the Application for Placement 2023 form and return it to their primary school’s Transition Coordinator by Friday 12th May 2023. These forms will then be forwarded on to Bendigo South East College.

Parents and carers with Grade 6 children at non-government schools - Catholic, independent and home schooling

The Transition Information Pack and Application form is available below, 2023.

In Term 2 2023 if your Grade 6 child is from a Catholic or independent school or is part of a home-schooling program, please contact BSE directly at (03) 5443 4522.

Please complete your Application for Year 7 Placement in 2024 at Bendigo South East College by 23 May 2023, and return the completed forms via email or directly to the college.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive information on my allocated school?
Notification of placements will be distributed from 19 July 2023 via your student’s primary school. Enrolment packs will be distributed from 21 August 2023. Transition information will be distributed at the start of November.

How will I be able to monitor my child’s academic process?

BSE has a virtual learning platform called Compass. Here, you will be able to access feedback, marks and additional information. The students receive login details at the beginning of the year and parents will receive theirs shortly after.

The Athlete Development Program (ADP) is a select-entry, specialised sports development and education program aimed to assist students in the pursuit of sporting excellence. The program combines general physical preparation (strength & conditioning), technical squad training and athlete development curriculum.
