Education Week - School Tours

Education Week is an opportunity for all primary and secondary schools, higher education, and early childhood services to showcase how they are building connections with the community around them.

Bendigo South East Secondary College will be celebrating Education Week by doing guided school tours. Please use the booking form below to book your spot on a school tour.

All Visitors to the College will be required to sign in at the General Office.

Moving from a government primary school to a government secondary school

For placement in Year 7 at Secondary School for commencement in 2022

1. Your child’s primary school will send you a copy of these documents via email or through the post when it is available.
2. Find your local secondary school or preferred schools at findmyschool.vic.gov.au. You can also read about how to choose a school that’s right for your family.
3. Complete the form and return it to your primary school by Friday 14 May 2021. Your child’s primary school will advise you how you should return the form.

Year 7 placement is decided by secondary schools. However, all communication about placement must be with the primary coordinator until the placement is confirmed.
If your preferences include non-local schools, you should read about school zones and how they work.
You will receive notification of your child’s year 7 placement on Wednesday 4 August 2021.
Your child’s new secondary school will then contact you later in the year to let you know about year 7 orientation.

Moving from a private primary school to a government secondary school

For placement in Year 7 at Secondary School for commencement in 2022

1. Download the 2021-22 Application Form. fill in and sign, save electronically and email to bendigo.southeast.sc@education.vic.gov.au OR print, complete, sign and return to Bendigo South East College by hand delivery to BSE General Office OR Post to Enrolments, PO Box 15, Strathdale Vic 3550 – Please attach proof of address (Rates notice or Copy of Lease).
2. Find your local secondary school or preferred schools at findmyschool.vic.gov.au. You can also read about how to choose a school that’s right for your family.
