Subject Selections for 2023 are now open, please check your email for login details.
Thursday the 11 of August, students will begin the 2023 Course Selections process. To ensure that the process is as seamless and efficient as possible, please read the following carefully and contact the College (at firstname.lastname@example.org) for clarification.
Selections for 2023 are to be completed online.
A unique webcode has been sent to each to each family via the email accounts you have associated with the college, you will also have received a BSE Virtual message.
Please check the Course Selection Booklets for subject descriptions.
Students can begin their selections on Thursday 11th August. Selections will close at 5:00 pm on Friday 26th August.
Students should pick the subjects that they wish to study in 2023, not the ones that they think will be popular or will see them in the same class as their friends.
The subjects that a student requests may not be the subjects that they are offered for 2023. Every effort is made to provide students with as many of their requested selections as possible, however, this is not always possible due to a range of factors. Students should take care when entering their reserve preferences as these will be used as backups if the first preference is unavailable.
Fees shown in Course Selection booklets are indicative only. Final course fees will be distributed with the 2023 book lists. The selection of an elective infers full consideration of the subject fee.
An expression of interest form is also available on the college website for Yr9 students wishing to apply for a VCE program in Yr10 in 2023. Please be aware that these forms will not secure a place in these programs. Students will be notified of the outcome after a selection process has been completed in Term 4.
A receipt of your student’s subject selections with associated costs will be sent to their BSE email. This can be accessed via BSE Virtual.
Once the subject selection is complete, parents/carers are required to go to the link below to indicate that they have seen and approve the subjects chosen as well as the related fees.
