WRITER/COMPOSER: NED — A NEW AUSTRALIAN MUSICAL
Alicia Barker is an experienced actor with the Bendigo Theatre Company (BTC), and vocally trained by Adam Lyon, Caitlin Penno and Alex Frank.
Alicia has performed in numerous dramas and musicals over the past 15 years including ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘Beauty & The Beast’, ‘Into The Woods’, ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, ‘Les Misérables’ ‘Don’s Party’, ‘The Removalist’ and ‘Hairspray’.
Most recently, she had the honour of playing Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago’ for BTC in 2014, the title role in ‘Mary Poppins’ at the Ulumbarra Theatre in 2015, and was part of the local team of actors that independently produced the musical, [title of show], in November 2015.
In her spare time, she is heavily involved in the local theatre and performing arts scene as a Committee Member, and Publicity Manager of the Bendigo Theatre Company and in December 2015, was actively involved in producing and directing the first ever Bendigo Kid’s Christmas Concert, raising over $7000 for the Bendigo Health Foundation Christmas Appeal.
Jennifer has 19 years of dance experience and has taught all around
Victoria. For the past seven years she has taught ballet, tap, and jazz tomany dancers in both Melbourne and Bendigo. She has completed a full-time
dance course at Triple Theatre Performing Arts, a certificate 3 in
fitness and is a Cecchetti Ballet Australia qualified teacher
Luke is an accomplished solo acoustic performer and social entrepreneur. His passion for music and people has led him to become one of the most highly sought after solo musicians throughout Central Victoria. With nearly a decade of performing experience, Luke has provided acoustic entertainment and MC services for hundreds of corporate, private and public functions, including engagement parties and wedding ceremonies and receptions.
