Angela Stevens, Corinne Harris and Kianna Morris participated in a semi-final debate against St Patrick's College, on Monday, 17th August. Their topic was, 'That we should commemorate ANZAC Day'.
As the affirmative team, we argued that it was increasingly important to learn from the past and to honour past and current service men and women. The opposition countered that ANZAC Day glorifies war and is nothing but a public holiday for football and drinking.
Congratulations to the team, which also included James Cameron in the preliminary round. Each student was a great Ambassador for BSE and we were very proud of their dedication and achievement.
