BSE REMEMBERS

BSE Remembers

On Friday the 22nd of April, BSE came together to remember all of the ANZACs who have fought for our freedom.

We met on Friday not to glorify war, but to pay our respects to many of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in order for us to live in peace.

I had the honour of hosting our ANZAC ceremony, whilst Jack was bearing the Australian flag as he led the Catafalque party.

We were joined by some truly inspiring war veterans, that later shared their stories in a reception for all student leaders.

BSE commemorated the young men and woman who displayed tremendous amounts of courage, bravery, selflessness, self-reliance and resourcefulness during enduring times of hardship.

Jack and I also had the privilege of representing Bendigo South East College on Monday at the 11am service in town. We laid a wreath in honour of the fallen and still serving war veterans.

The BSE marching band also did a terrific job marching in the parade. We took this opportunity to represent our school wholeheartedly at such a beautiful and well-run service.
