BSE Dragons Badminton Compete in Sandhurst Division


BSE Dragons Junior Boys and Girls Sandhurst Badminton Excel


All of the girls in the Year 7 Badminton Team did an absolutely amazing job. The girls played against CCB, Crusoe and Eaglehawk. All of the girls were undefeated until they lost one game in the grand final. 

They did such a good job winning all of their games and cheering each other on. As all of the girls made such a great effort on the day, they are competing in the regional competition. Very proud of these girls.

The awesome year 7 Girls Badminton team is Nicole, Alex, Keahma, Lily, Tahlia, Meg and Stephanie.

On Wednesday the 17th of June, the Year 8 girls competed in the first round of the interschool Badminton competition. 


The girls all put up an outstanding fight against various schools from the Bendigo and close surrounding region. They were undefeated all day and held their heads up high throughout the duration of all games. A big congratulations to these girls as they have trained very hard to make it to this stage and we wish them all the best as they progress to the Loddon Mallee badminton competition, which is a fantastic achievement that they should all be extremely proud of.


The team consisted of Jayde, Alyssa, Ava, Lucy , Felicity, Mia, Abbey and Bridie.

On 17th of June eight Year 7 boys competed in the Bendigo Badminton tournament. The boys started exceptionally winning easily against Crusoe. They then went on to defeat Weeroona, East Loddon, Eaglehawk and took out the grand final against CCB. 

Well done to the boys, a great effort for the day.

Congratulations to the Year 8 boys Badminton Team for winning through to the Loddon Mallee Competion to be held in July.

Winners of the next completion go on to play for State Title. The boys are motivated to do well and have improve along the journey. 

Team members were: Kyle, Bailey, Will, Harry, Nick and Kealy.

Thank you to the squad members who also came along to score, photograph and or write articles. Congratulations to the student coaches who led their team to victory. Squad member will continue to train in preparation for the upcoming Loddon Mallee competition in July.
