Connor Royle, Year 10 Student shares some experiences from his Computer Aided Design Class (CAD).
In Year 10 DCT CAD we started by learning simple 2 dimensional sketches. We also learn't how to extrude holes into objects such as cubes and other shapes. We furthered our skills by rounding and chamfering edges to make our product more appealing to the proposed client. We have designed 3D products in CAD and have turned them into Industry Standard Australian Standard Drawings. I am currently completing my end of term folio work for my Learning Assessment task.
