Uniform Policy

All students are required to wear uniform. We believe our uniform is one way of promoting a sense of identity with, and belonging to, the College community. It also imparts a sense of responsibility to the students and enhances our reputation for excellence with regard to behaviour, presentation and achievement. Students are required to wear school uniform on all school days – including excursions and sport days. When necessary, students will bring appropriate clothes for special events and change at the designated times. Parents will be informed about any day or occasion when uniform for the school, or a particular group, will not be required. Only uniform with the designated College logo is to be worn.


All students will be strongly encouraged to take pride in their personal grooming and presentation. Excessive jewellery, make-up and garish nail polish are inappropriate for school use and are not to be worn with school uniform. Students are required to follow the given process if out of uniform.

Boys Uniform

• Trousers – Navy Blue – Unigates with embroidered logo
• Shorts - Navy Blue Unigates with embroidered logo
• Royal blue polo top with embroidered logo (long or short sleeved) or White Midford shirt with College tie
• BSE royal blue school jumper or royal blue windcheater or rugby top and/or one of the two jackets and/or the blazer (worn with white shirt and tie). Plain royal blue or white short sleeved undershirt (no logos or print)
• Socks - plain white
• Hat/Cap – College Cap or Hat
• Tie BSE (optional)
• Royal blue scarf, beanie (Optional)

Girls Uniform

• Dress - Lenaren blue and white inverted pleat, action back bias tab, at or below the knee or
• Shorts – navy Lenaren with embroidered logo
• Lenaren blue check winter school skirt or navy slacks – Scags hipster stretch, with embroidered logo
• Royal blue polo top with embroidered logo emblem or white Midford shirt with College tie
• BSE royal blue school jumper or royal blue windcheater or rugby top and/or one of the two jackets and/or the blazer (worn with white shirt and tie).
• Socks - plain white
• Tights – navy – winter (optional)
• Plain royal blue or white short sleeved undershirt (no logos or print)
• Hat/Cap - College Cap or Hat
• Tie (optional)
• Royal blue scarf, gloves, beanie (Optional)

PE & Sports Uniform

• Polo top – royal blue and gold PE/Sport with embroidered PE/Sport logo
• Track suit/track pants – plain navy with embroidered logo
• Shorts – plain navy with embroidered logo - choice of two (Track & Field)
• White socks
• Appropriate footwear – sports shoes
• (Optional) Rugby top or royal blue windcheater and/or one of the two jackets
• Hat/Cap – College Cap College Sport Representation
• Shorts – plain navy blue with embroidered logo
• Polo top – royal blue and gold PE/Sport with embroidered PE/Sport logo
• BSE team uniform (Supplied by the College)
• Tracksuit – plain navy with embroidered logo

College Formal Representation

• Students representing the College on formal occasions will wear a white shirt with stiffened collar, tie and blazer. Boys are to wear black dress pants and girls the blue check winter skirt or black Scags

College Music Representation

• For music performances, students are to wear a white, long sleeved shirt with collar, black pants (not jeans) and the College vest
• College jackets to be worn when needed and available

SunSmart, Safety and Industrial clothing

• Students to wear protective clothing such as aprons, art shirt, overalls or dustcoats to help prevent damage to school clothes (Protective aprons are supplied by the school for use in Food and Metal Technology)
• College hats/caps are to be worn outdoors during Terms 1 and 4.

Footwear

Students choose from the following plain black, leather, lace up school shoes:
